Tax Advisor

Inspire Resourcing is recruiting for a Tax Advisor to work for our well established, prestigious client in Sheffield.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous Tax experience within a practise environment that wants to work for a growing business that offers ongoing opportunities balanced with a family friendly culture.

Duties to include:

  • Managing own portfolio of clients, to nurture the relationships and identify opportunities
  • Review of Self-Assessment Tax Returns, forms P11D, ERS returns, CT61s and Capital Gains Tax Returns
  • Review of corporation tax computations prepared by accounts team
  • Approve computations and returns for submission to HM Revenue & Customs
  • Assist with the Preparation (on occasion) of corporation tax computations for key clients including key tax issues reports
  • Monitor cases where tax repayments and credits are due from HM Revenue & Customs
  • Monitor external corporation tax deadlines aided by tax software
  • Supporting the team with adhoc tax queries when they arise
  • Identifying opportunities and threats
  • Assisting the Tax Planning and Private Client teams with more complex projects on an ad-hoc basis
  • Participate in team development, mentoring and support, in particular in respect of the development of graduates in the tax team more widely

To apply for the role you will need:

  • Previous experience of working in an accountancy practice
  • ATT or CTA part or fully qualified
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and use your own initiative
