Qualifications and Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE in ICT/Computer Science

• Demonstrable experience or a strong understanding of ICT/Computer Science curriculum

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to inspire and engage...

• Excellent command of computing skills and the ability to demonstrate these across the age and ability range

• Excellent classroom management skills

• Ability to enthuse and motivate students

• Understanding of Computing National Curriculum

• Appropriate teaching and learning methodologies

Ideal Candidate:

•Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification with a specialism in computer science or related field.

•Strong subject knowledge across various scientific and IT topics and concepts.

•Previous experience teaching computer science at the secondary level.
