Teacher of English

A secondary school in Skelmersdale, Lancashire is looking to recruit a Teacher of English for a September 2024 or sooner. Holden Knight Education are supporting the recruitment of this Teacher of English role.

This school does require improvements in terms of their OFSTED report but they are making great progress towards GOOD.

Key duties:

1. Teaching English to KS4.

2. To succeed in this role, you will be focusing on various assessments across English to include language and literature .

3. As a teacher of English, you should possess an excellent ability to teach English.

4. Develop teaching materials and teaching aids.

5. Conduct innovative lessons for students.

6. Maintain reports for future reference.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in English or a related field.

2. Prior experience working as an English teacher in an Educational setting.

3. Strong time management skills.

4. QTS or equivalent.

5. Exceptional attention to detail.

6. Hard working and reliable.

7. Strong decision making skills.

8. Outstanding problem solving skills.
