Tradewind are recruiting on behalf of one of our West Lancashire secondary schools who are looking for a Full Time Teacher of Religious Education to start after May half term to cover a maternity leave.

The school require an RE Teacher to teach Monday - Friday and deliver Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The role is a maternity leave so will be for at least 6 months. The role will pay up to £211.96 per day, depending on experience.

Our client school are looking for a Teacher of Religious Education who possesses excellent subject knowledge.

The role:

  • Teacher of Religious Education to KS3 and KS4
  • 3rd June 2024 start
  • Maternity Leave
  • 6 months at least
  • Full Time
  • Excellent subject knowledge essential

The school:

  • West Lancashire local authority
  • 1400 + pupils on roll
  • 11-18 school

The essentials:

  • QTS or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Religious Education across KS3 and KS4
  • Enhanced Child workforce DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a new one
  • Full and complete 10-year career history
  • Minimum of 2 references including your most recent employment reference
  • Legal right to work in the UK
