An Alternative Provision Academy that serves vulnerable students within Hull and the East Riding are looking for a Teacher to work full time from September 2024 on a 1 year fixed term contract.
Their main site is situated in East Hull and their students are taught in a range of specifically designed buildings.
Location: Kingston-upon-Hull, East Yorkshire, HU9 5DE

The main focus of the Teachers role is fostering the learning and progress of the pupils in their care. This involves being an effective teacher of pupils as well as of the subject. Quality of preparation, resourcing, planning, subject expertise, teaching skill, pace, challenge, proactive classroom management, effective marking and assessment, high expectations, and positive personal relationships are all central to providing the conditions within which pupils' personal skills, abilities, understanding, learning and progress can be developed.

Candidates should hold GCSE English and Maths at a grade C/4 equivalent or above at a minimum. Candidates should have good communication, written, numeracy and ICT skills. A drivers licence is desirable.

Unqualified candidates will be considered.
Specialisms of Maths/Humanities or ICT are preferred

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references
