Attention all graduates interested in pursuing a career in education! A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a teaching assistant role in a mainstream secondary school in Greenwich.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team as a teaching assistant, starting immediately. The position is full-time and long-term, lasting until the end of the academic year. The range of pay for this position is from £80.00 to £100.00 a day, depending on your level of experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the classroom teacher with lesson planning and delivery
  • Working with students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups
  • Helping to maintain a positive and safe learning environment.
  • Ensuring that all students have equal access to education and that they are supported in their learning and development.

To be considered for this role, you must have previous child-based experience and hold a DBS on the update service. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be patient, empathetic, and be able to adapt to different learning needs.
