Teaching Assistant

Teaching Assistant Level 3 required for a small, successful school in Trafford. The role is based in Year 2 and is required to start as soon as possible.

Do you have experience supporting children at this crucial stage of their education? Are you confident leading groups at all ability levels with Phonics, Guided Reading, Maths and Writing? This Teaching Assistant role is to start as soon as possible and will continue throughout summer term and more than likely for autumn term too.

As part of this Teaching Assistant role, you will be required to:

• Support groups across core curriculum areas
• Manage behaviour positively and effectively
• Prepare resources and learning areas within the classroom
• Make assessments and record assessment data and information
• Mark activities
• Create appealing and educational classroom displays

Essential requirements:

• Professional references covering 2 full years
• Enhanced DBS on the update service
• UK classroom experience and Right to Work in the UK
• Available full-time
