We are looking for a passionate and conscientious teaching assistant to work in a mainstream primary setting at Bolton. You will be based in a primary classroom, providing support and guidance to all children alongside general classroom duties.
This is a full-time role ( 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM ) available as soon as possible.
You will have the chance to support students, as well as continue your own professional development. It is a highly rewarding role, where qualifications are desired but not required! We are looking for those with experience working with children and/or young people.
Responsibilities
Ensuring pupils stay on task
Controlling behaviour in the classroom
Providing support to children on a 1-to-1 basis or in a group setting when required
Assisting the teacher in planning engaging lessons for the class in line with the curriculum
Liaising with the class teacher and parents to provide the best support.

Requirements:
Eligibility to work in the UK (No sponsorship provided)
Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to get a
Positive attitude to learning.
Able to adapt to the different needs of each child
Flexibly adhere to the needs of the pupils in a professional and friendly manner
Able to use initiative to do general tasks within the classroom.
