Teaching Assistant

  • Location- Frankley, Birmingham, B45
  • Daily Rate- £85 - £100
  • Start Date- 03/06/2024
  • End Date: 22/07/2024
  • Days- Monday to Friday
  • Hours- 8:30am to 3:30pm

LTF Recruitment are searching for an teaching assistant to join our modern well-funded primary academy in the Frankley area.

The Role:

You will be responsible for supporting the teaching and learning of children in Year Three. The role will involve supporting whole class learning. The role will also involve running intervention sessions for children, the main aim is to ensure every child has the best opportunity to reach their full potential in a caring and safe environment.

The School:

  • 'OFSTED' rated Good primary academy.
  • Part of a Multi Academy Trust.
  • New School Building built in 2019.
  • Supportive Senior Leadership Team.

The Ideal candidate:

  • Experience supporting pupils with SEN and/or EAL.
  • Level 2 or 3 qualified and/or a minimum of 12 months' experience in an educational establishment.
  • Experience in working with supporting students in their education on a 1:1 and a small group basis and running intervention sessions.
  • Knowledge of the UK primary curriculum.
  • A calm, patient, and caring persona.
  • Good communication skills.
  • A good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines.
