Spencer Clarke Group is currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Teaching Assistants at an SEMH Secondary school in Skelmersdale. This is an excellent opportunity for those with experience in support work, youth work, or personal experience in similar environments to contribute to the educational journey of students.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing support to students with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
  • Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
  • Building positive relationships with students to promote their academic and personal development.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to create a supportive learning environment.


Requirements:

  • Experience in support work, youth work, or relevant personal experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
