Tradewind is currently seeking a committed Teaching Assistant for a 'good' secondary school in Sandbach!

Position: Teaching Assistant

Location: Sandbach

Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary to Permanent

Pay: £85 - £100 per day

As a teaching assistant, you are required to provide tailored support to students at KS3, KS4, and those with special educational needs (SEN), enhancing the learning environment to ensure students achieve their full potential. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing personalised one-to-one support to address individual learning needs
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to deliver small group instruction
  • Leading intervention sessions for core learning including in Maths and English
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Supporting students' emotional and social development

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant
  • Enthusiastic attitude and strong communication skills
  • Committed to supporting student well-being
  • An Enhanced DBS Check, or the willingness to undergo one
  • Full CV history with all employment and education included
