Requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in UK
  • Enhanced DBS on the updated service.
  • Previous experience working with students with social, emotional, and mental health needs is highly desirable.
  • A genuine passion for supporting young learners and a commitment to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students and build trust.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and small-group support to students, both inside and outside the classroom, to enhance their learning experience.
  • Implement personalised learning plans and strategies that address the unique requirements of each student, fostering their academic progress and emotional well-being.
  • Foster a safe and supportive environment where students can build positive relationships and develop essential social skills.
  • Assist teaching staff in planning and delivering lessons, adapting materials and approaches to accommodate diverse learning needs.
  • Encourage and motivate students, celebrating their achievements and progress, no matter how small, to boost their self-confidence and self-esteem.
