Role: Software Business Analyst
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000
Location: Ipswich (only required one day a week in office)

To further their mission of delivering exceptional software products, they are seeking a skilled Software Business Analyst to join their dynamic team based in Ipswich.
As a Software Business Analyst, you will play a vital role in gathering, analysing, and documenting requirements for new features and enhancements to the company's software solutions. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality products by collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, developers, and testers. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to contribute to the growth and success of a prominent player in the software sector.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with internal users and conduct research to gather and analyse requirements.
Organize and prioritize requirements to align with business objectives.
Create detailed requirement specifications and supporting documentation.
Liaise with software developers to assess options and resolve any uncertainties.
Manage change requests and evaluate their impact on existing features and requirements.
Assist the testing team by addressing queries that arise during the testing process.
Develop and update customer-facing product information, including website content and communication materials.
Skills and Experience:
Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the software sector or as a Technical Business Analyst
Strong understanding of IT and the software development lifecycle.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to create clear and effective requirement documents.
Analytical mindset with the ability to comprehend complex business rules and translate them into software requirements.
Self-motivated and proactive individual with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Professional certifications such as ISEB/BCS are highly desirable.
Experience in relevant industries, such as finance, legal, or professional services, is advantageous.
