£38,000 - £40,000 DOE

We are absolutely thrilled to be working alongside our Award Winning Construction Manufacturing client as we look to recruit for TWO Technical Services Engineers to join their UK wide team. These roles are business critical and we are looking to get you started in your new role ASAP.

With a strong Team network across the UK and Ireland, the Service Engineers work closely together to ensure exceptional customer service and customer support are delivered to their Global client base.

Your New Role
You will provide technical support predominantly to our clients main contractors and developers as well as Architects, Contractors, Installers and distributors of our product.
You will be provide technical review and specification of key stage of a project and develop project specific proposals and technical offering. Advising customers on correct selection, specification and/or use of standard products within the defined limits of standard applications;
Fully recording all technical enquiries and responses into the CRM system and ensuring Technical Responses are issued to the customer in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
• To be the initial contact for 'Non-standard’, complex and/or novel technical enquiries for key stakeholders.
• Undertake preparation and/or review of project documentation to support product approval from key stakeholders.
• Project design support.
• Fully record technical enquiries and responses onto company CRM system.
• Support sales team with technical issues.
• Interpret customer needs in AutoCAD format for confirmation with the customer.
• Formulate drawings for internal use that interpret the customer’s needs.
• Contribute to the continuous business improvement process and to the meeting of business objectives.
• To be an ambassador for the company at all times internally and externally.
• Comply with Health & Safety Policy and safe working practices, ensure responsibility for safety and discipline in work area and report hazards, accidents and 'near misses’ in accordance with defined safety procedures.

Job Role Function
• Technical understanding of our clients fire products to understand the requirements of our customers.
• Ability to use influencing skills to develop and gain co-operation from other departments to achieve satisfactory outcomes.
• Able to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks and react quickly and responsibly to changing situations, needs and demands on time so exceptional organisational skills are required.
• Excellent administration skills both written and verbally.
• Communicate effectively at all levels - internally and externally with an excellent interpersonal skill in verbal and written.
• Demonstrable evidence of providing reports and technical responses to a wide range of people in a format that is easy to understand.
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office packages).
• High levels of attention to detail and organisation skills with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
• Effective logical problem solver, bringing creativity to otherwise unaddressed issues.
• The ability to analyse data
• The ability to operate independently as well as under guidance
• The confidence to liaise with customers and authorities
• A logical and creative approach to problem solving
• Team player

Previous Experience
• Experience of working within the construction industry.
• At least 5 years relevant work experience.
• A construction product background would be beneficial.
• Experience in providing written and verbal technical responses to a wide range of audiences

Contractual Benefits

• Bonus Share Scheme (the amount of shares depends on the level of the role)
