An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Information Technology department for a Technology Solutions Architect.

This role offers the opportunity to assist the Technology Senior leadership team and wider business management teams to conceptualise, design and deploy the IT services and infrastructure to support the organisation’s current and future technology requirements.

The Role

The Technology Solutions Architect will work with the business leaders to align technological strategy and capabilities to business visions and objectives. The role also will provide architectural oversight and governance for the design, build and continual improvement of reusable and scalable IT services and capabilities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Help define and publish IT strategy in partnership with the Technology Senior leadership team.
  • Help produce and maintain IT principles and standards to support the delivery of new technology services.
  • Engage with key stakeholders and Business Analysts to define and review Functional and Nonfunctional requirements to ensure IT services are fit for purpose.
  • Ensuring adherence to FCA, PRA, TCF and Data Protection/GDPR regulations in relation to any proposed system, service, environment or solution, and adhere to the relevant Best Practice recommendations.
  • Provide a governance framework to ensure continued technology alignment with business and customer goals.

Person Specification

This role involves liaising with non-technical and technical stakeholders, therefore it is essential that the successful candidate is a strong communicator with a collaborative approach. The ideal candidate will hold the Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert qualification. You must have exposure to rearchitecting IT solutions to cloud native platforms and have interpreted user requirements into specifications and design criteria. It is also essential you have produced and maintained IT Solution artefacts such as Design Documents, Standards Documents or IT Architecture Principles. Any previous experience designing on-premises PBX call centre migration or CRM systems would also be desirable. We are looking for a pragmatic individual who has the ability relate and rationalise conceptual design to practical delivery and scenarios. You must be organised and methodical in your approach with excellent attention to detail.

The role is based in our central London office, working a minimum of two days a week in the office and three days a week from home.
