Trainee/Junior Property Manager

Location: NW London

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (No weekends)

We are seeking a Trainee/Junior Property Manager to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to learn and develop within the property management sector. While previous lettings experience is required, property management experience is not essential as full training will be provided. The ideal candidate will be ambitious, resilient, and eager to contribute to the success of our team and provide exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct property inspections and assessments, identifying and resolving any maintenance issues.
  • Liaise with landlords, tenants, and contractors to coordinate property maintenance and repairs.
  • Assist in managing a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring that landlord and tenant needs are met promptly and efficiently, including assessment of the portfolios from a financial standpoint.
  • Handle tenant queries and concerns in a professional and timely manner, maintaining positive relationships.
  • Assist in the negotiation and renewal of tenancy agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations governing residential lettings.
  • Complete administrative tasks accurately and in a timely manner, including record-keeping and data entry.
  • Actively participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in residential lettings is essential.
  • A valid driving licence is required.
  • Own vehicle is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
  • Keenness to learn and develop within the property management industry.
  • Ambitious, resilient, and committed to delivering outstanding customer service.
