Job Title: Business Support & Manufacturing Trainee
Location: Carrington, Greater Manchester
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (Mon-Thurs: 8am-5pm, Fridays: 8am-4.10pm)
Onsite parking available and bus stop outside office.
Salary: Starting at £NLW per hour with reviews throughout the training program
Overview:
Join our dynamic team as a Business Support & Manufacturing Trainee. This is a great opportunity for an apprentice or junior candidate to join a business offering comprehensive training across all departments of our organisation. Located in Carrington you will embark on a 3-year hands-on training plan, gaining exposure to Production, Quality, Warehouse, Purchasing, Logistics, Customer Support, Sales, Marketing, HR, and Accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Rotate through various departments to receive training in all aspects of operations
- Shadow experienced employees to understand methods, procedures, and standards
- Provide support to ensure smooth departmental operations
- Complete assessments at the end of each module
- Attend external training programs to enhance skills
- Report progress on goals and objectives
Requirements:
- Strong literacy, numeracy, and computer skills
- Technical aptitude and problem-solving abilities
- Eagerness to learn and potential for management
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Resilience and goal-oriented mindset
- Excellent communication skills
- Resourcefulness and organizational skills
- Team player with flexibility
Additional:
Following the initial 12 months, flexibility to travel may be required, as training opportunities may extend to the UK and USA.
