We are recruiting for a Transport Administrator for an organisation based in Leeds City Centre. This is a long term temporary position offernig Hybrid working and the opportunity to work in a busy and interesting admin based position.

Some of the key duties will include;

  • Maintain records of drivers allocated to SEN and School transport services.
  • Prepare, seek authorisation for and send taxi and minibus contract award, variation and termination letters. Updating contract schedules when variations are made and ensuring the Local Authorities (LA’s) and Operators are provided with up-to-date contract schedules.
  • Process Operator invoices. Including reconciliation of charges made by Operators with expected charges, notifying the SEN Transport Controller where discrepancies are found; maintaining a record of charges made for each contract every month using Excel; and authorisation of payment of invoice via the CA’s financial management system.
  • Prepare the Mileage Spreadsheets for all districts for each month
