Working with DHL, the world's leading logistics provider you will be working as part of a team that provides transport services worldwide. You will also be responsible for contacting customers and transport suppliers to ensure shipments are collected and delivered on time.  This is a temp-to-perm opportunity via Rapier Employment working the AFTERNOON shift.

Duties include:
  • Coordinating transport solutions for clients
  • Load schedule planning
  • Forecasting data to manage future transport solutions
  • Engaging with subcontractors and third party suppliers
  • Providing accurate shipment information
  • Managing return loads
  • Escalation of issues to senior management
  • Creating tax and duty payment information
  • Spot pricing for ad-hoc shipments
  • TRAINING PROVIDED

Experience/Skills Required:
  • 5 years check-able employment/education history
  • DBS check required
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Computer literate 
  • Transport/Logistics experience is strongly preferred but will consider other candidates with an exceptional attitude.
  • Planning and workload prioritization
  • Be a good team player
  • Be able to travel to and from the office in Hayes, Middlesex (UB3)

Hours of hours:
Afternoon shift hours will be between 13:00-21:30 (40 hrs payable) - you may be asked to cover other shifts occasionally

Salary
£28,500pa (paid hourly via agency)
