A UK Sales Director is required to help grow the UK business. As part of an international Group, you will lead the UK BDM team, working towards YOY growth for the region.

An international technology business with a European presence. This is a great opportunity for a commericially led leader to help grow their UK arm of the business.

Description

As the UK Sales Director, you will:

  • Coach and develop a small business development team, working closely with them to help achieve their personal targets.
  • Own the overall budget number for the UK business.
  • Contribute a personal number to the overall team number.
  • Assess and plan market growth in key verticals.
  • Work closely with other department heads in the UK, whilst also engaging with international colleagues to share best practice, cross-sell, etc.
  • Work closely with Marketing to ensure good quality leads are being generated and relevant marketing campaigns are being carried out.
  • Take a lead role at industry specific events.
  • Work on suitable hardware pricing for customers and overall customer strategy.
  • Perform assessment and performance reviews with team members.
  • Attend customer meetings with team members, and individually.

Profile

As the UK Sales Director, you will:

  • Have a proven track record in coaching and developing a business development team.
  • Have experience in a leadership and contributor role, selling subscription based technology solutions.
  • Ideally have some automotive knowledge, whether selling into OEMs, fleet, experienced in hardware asset management, asset security, IOT, telematics, field service management, etc.
  • Be solution led with experience selling both into B2B end users and channel partners, distributors.
