Due to rapid growth and expansion, the opportunity to recruit a Warehouse & Logistics Manager has arisen. The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role within an FMCG business turning over at least £8M per annum
Responsibilities
- Manage the relationship with third party partners and suppliers
- Ensure there is a cohesive approach to stock management
- Analyse data and generate reports to track key performance indicators and identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipments, and warehouse activities.
- Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of products.
- Coordinate inventory management activities, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely replenishment.
- Implement and enforce health and safety standards to ensure a safe working environment for all warehouse employees.
- Create work schedules and allocate resources effectively to meet workload demands.
- Implement quality control procedures
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and strategies.
- Work closely with customer service teams to ensure accurate and on-time order deliveries.
- You will be part of the Operations leadership team, where you will contribute to key strategic decisions of the business.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience in warehouse management and operations within the beauty and wellness industry or a similar FMCG environment within a business turning over at least £8M
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Analytical mindset with the capability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices.
- NetSuite ERP, Shopify and Monday.com experience
- MS Office Experience particularly with Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Adaptability and resilience to thrive in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.
- Commitment to upholding high standards of quality, accuracy, and safety.
