My client based in Middlesbrough is looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join their team on a permanent basis.

This an exciting opportunity to join a fast growing retail business, who are in the process of expanding their main warehouse based in Middlesbrough.

The ideal candidate will be engaging and keen to progress within the business to other warehouse based roles, including Stock Control, Goods in/out and Dispatch. A current FLT Counterbalance licence would be desirable, but not essential if you are experienced in all other areas of the role.

Duties will include:

  • Manually picking customer orders
  • Packing orders in a busy warehouse environment
  • Heavy lifting up to 25kg independently
  • Liaising with stores department regarding stock levels
  • Occasional use of company van to deliver items to customer homes
  • Counterbalance FLT licence would be preferred, though not essential
  • General housekeeping duties
  • Supporting all other roles in the business as and when required

Salary: £23k

Hours: Mon-Fri, 37.5hrs - Saturday is optional, good flexibility with working hours/days
