Wheeled Loading Shovel Driver

£14.14p/hr, Day shifts, ASAP start, Long term role

BRADFORD

Interaction Recruitment are looking for a Wheeled Loading Shovel Driver to work for a National Waste Management company based in Esholt, Bradford (BD10). The successful candidate must have access to their own transport or live locally, as the site isn’t easily accessible via Public Transport.

The role will consist of loading wagons and screeners, movement of material around site and keeping the site clean and tidy all whilst working in accordance with the Company’s health and safety, environmental and other standards as they apply to the process. You will also be required to work away from the Shovel when needed assisting in Manual Duties and sorting around the site.

The successful candidate must hold a current and valid Shovel Loader License/Ticket and have all your own PPE. Knowledge of Manual Handling Techniques are also vital, as the role will include lifting, shifting and manual handling. Experience of driving Tractors would be beneficial to the role but not essential.

The working week will be from 7am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays required from time to time, 7am to 2pm. The pay rate for the role is £14.14p/hr and the role is advertised as long term temporary for the right candidate.
