Wood Machinist

A fabulous opportunity has arisen for a lead machinist within a leading local timber specialist based in Salford. You will have a sound experience within the timber industry and you will be tasked with operating machinery, ensuring quality standards are met, whilst keeping waste to a minimum.
You will be responsible for the day to day operation of the machines. Experience with machines such as Weinig 5 header moulder 6 cutter moulders, rip saw and cross cut is advantageous; your ability and manner are as equally important. Machine specific training can be given to the right candidate.
Working 8am-4:30pm Monday - Friday
40 hours paid per week - with a 30 minute lunch break
£27,040 - £28,080 per annum depending on experience
