A primary school in Formby is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their vibrant team, supporting the learning and development of children in Year 1. They are a forward-thinking school with a commitment to providing a nurturing environment where every child can succeed.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the delivery of educational activities and structured play.
  • Support the classroom teacher in managing class behavior.
  • Provide one-to-one support to students with additional needs.
  • Prepare classroom materials and resources.
  • Help maintain a clean and organized learning environment.
  • Participate in school events and activities.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Childcare or Education.
  • Experience working with children in a primary school setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A patient, caring, and creative approach to learning support.
  • Commitment to the school's ethos and values.
