Job Title: Managing Director - Momenta Connect Location: South East - Home Based with Regular Travel to Sites within Central London and the South East Salary: £90,000 - £100,000 per annum dependent on experience plus Car Allowance and Annual Performance Bonus This role will commence in September 2024. About the Role We are looking for a Managing Director who will be accountable for a portfolio of services that form part of our newly established wellbeing division of the organisation - Momenta Connect. Momenta Connect is formed by three organisations. WPA - a leading specialist provider of attendance and safeguarding support to schools and academies based in Croydon and operating over the South East. London Children's Practice - a specialist provider of diagnostic and therapeutic support for young people based in Central London; and ADL - an online provision to maintain and rebuild a young person’s connection with education. This role is charged with ensuring that our services deliver all elements of performance as specialised in their developmental plans, budget and group-wide expectations. The role includes the maintenance and improvement of quality, staff retention and well-being, financial performance, sustainability, and growth. We are looking for a Managing Director with previous Business Development experience, as we go through an exciting period of growth. You will be responsible for establishing new services and their needs. As Managing Director you will be the lead for the portfolio of service and will hold ultimate safeguarding responsibility as a priority. You will work collaboratively with the organisation to drive all aspects of growth and working practices. You do not have to have sector experience for this role, however, a strong background in commercial and leadership and ability to motivate and manage cross-functional teams is important. Key accountabilities To lead, line manage and hold accountable, the Senior Leadership teams within the services and work with them and their management teams to produce and deliver service plans, covering: progress and achievement, health and safety, regulatory compliance, cost management, growth, staff engagement and development, profit, and growth. The individual service plans will fit within the overall wellbeing division strategy. Accountabilities include: Provision of strong leadership, based on a clear vision, direction of development and the outcomes to be achievedLead weekly service calls with all direct reports to share and promote key group informationConduct regular service visits to both support and challenge the operational teamComplete and document performance management meetings with all direct reportsMonitor and report on performance across the regional portfolioProvide overall leadership in key areas of delivery, and undertake cross divisional projects/support, as agreed with the Executive Team Support the tendering of new contracts and annual renewals.
