A modernised steel fabricator company are seeking an Estimator to join a friendly manufacturing team of 80 in Bedford. The Estimator Role The company undertake a wide variety of projects ranging from multi-million-pound developments and regeneration projects to smaller-scale creative new builds and commercial ventures. The incoming estimator will ensure tender bids are processed, completed & returned in a complete & accurate manner, within the timeframe requested by the client. Other duties include- Review drawings & Tender informationEstablish if the project is appropriate for the businessRecord and log tender informationCollate information from enquiries received and prepare tender bidsCheck through tender documents to ensure proposed contract terms are acceptable to the businessPreparing accurate take-offs of all applicable work from drawings.
