Job Description

This could offer an excellent career opportunity for an Accounts Assistant who would like to be part of a family run business. Our client is committed to providing all necessary training courses for the right candidate, including supporting further qualifications. 

Responsibilities of Accounts Assistant:

  • Processing invoices from start to finish
  • Setting up supplier accounts and maintaining good supplier relationships and answering their enquiries
  • Prepare accounting reports using Excel data
  • Follow up on late payments
  • Issuing credit notes when necessary
  • Processing Payroll
  • Processing weekly and monthly payment runs, both cheque and electronic
  • Reconcile accounts and supplier statements
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as needed

The ideal candidate:

You will, ideally, be local to the area, and have previous experience in a similar role. You will be able to work autonomously in a dynamic, busy environment.

The successful candidate must also have good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word. This is a great opportunity to work for a growing business.
