Secondary English Teacher Wanted-Academics

Position Overview: As a Secondary English Teacher, you will have the opportunity to engage and challenge students in the exploration of literature, writing, and language. You will guide students through the exciting world of English literature, from classic works to contemporary texts, and help them develop essential reading, writing, and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging and differentiated English lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and encouraged to participate.
  • Assess student progress through a variety of formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary units and enhance the overall curriculum.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously improve teaching practices and stay abreast of current educational trends.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Teaching certification/license in Secondary Education.
  • Proven experience teaching English at the secondary level, with a strong understanding of curriculum development and instructional best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
