Graduate / Trainee Fire Engineer

Our client seeks a talented and motivated Graduate Fire Engineer with a Master's degree in Fire Engineering (or related engineering degree) from a reputable UK institution. As a key member the team, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, collaborating with experienced professionals to deliver cutting-edge fire engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct fire engineering analysis, simulations, and assessments for various building projects.
  • Assist in the development of fire safety strategies and designs in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate fire engineering solutions seamlessly into architectural and structural designs.
  • Prepare technical reports, drawings, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations effectively.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in fire engineering.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Fire Engineering (or related engineering degree) from a recognised UK university.
  • Strong understanding of fire science principles, fire dynamics, and fire safety engineering.
  • Proficiency in fire engineering software such as Pyrosim, FDS, or similar.
  • Skilled in AutoCAD and/or Revit.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently when required.
  • Enthusiasm for continuous learning and professional development.
