We are supporting a global manufacturing business in their search for an additional Project Engineer to join the team. This role is days only, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week. You will be joining a specialist area of the Engineering team that leads CI and plant improve projects across their state-of-the-art facility. You will be the Mechanical Engineering expert in the team and be the technical lead in this area.  This role will be varied and challenging as there are multiple projects currently underway.

Core duties include:
  • Provide Mechanical Engineering skills and knowledge to the Project Engineering team
  • Lead continuous improvement projects across the site
  • Develop concepts into detailed specifications on a broad range of manufacturing equipment
  • Leading of multiple engineering projects to ensure achievement of time, cost, and performance targets
  • Creating and maintaining mechanical specifications, drawings, and documentation
  • Tender analysis and validation
Qualifications required:
  • Recognised Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent
  • Project Engineer with a Mechanical background
  • Project engineering experience in a manufacturing or process environment
  • Project management experience within multi-disciplinary teams
  • AUTOCAD or Inventor CAD experience required
  • Demonstrable ability to lead and control capital projects
