Job Title: Sales Ledger- Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper They’re now looking for a motivated, hardworking Sales Ledger Accounts Assistant / Book Keeper to join their well established finance team (5 people). The role will involve supporting the Finance Manager with all aspects related to accounts and finance - with a core focus on accounts receivable - alongside assisting with minimal HR and admin duties. To be successful in this role you must be a self-motivator, possess an eye for detail and a professional manner at all times. What you’ll be doing: Ensure sales invoices and credit notes are raised on a timely basisHandle month end procedures including sales and receipts reconciliations (by channels), accruals, bank reconciliations, AP/ AR contra, etcCredit control and dispute resolutionProvide weekly status update on AR aging report, including the latest receipt postings and allocationMulti-currency transactions' postingsUK and International VAT reconciliations and submissionsAP invoices posting, e.g. platform feesFiling and administrative office workAssist year end auditOther ad hoc duties What we’re looking for Your approach: Ability to be clear and concise with communication (oral and written).Driven & self-motivated, a strong planner and well organizedFriendly and Professional with the ability to not only listen, but to take initiative and implement tasks using initiativeA strong analytical and strategic thinkerA diligent worker, able to balance own priorities while supporting wider team Your experience: Previous experience working in an accounting support role.AAT level 3 or ACCA/CIMA studierKnowledge of basic accounting practices and procedures.Experience with Microsoft Office package incl.
