Actuarial Analyst

There now exists an opportunity to recruit an Actuarial Analyst to support and assist with the reserving and pricing processes, supporting business capabilities for accurate analysis and insights.You will be expected to capture and refine processes by collaborating with stakeholders to improve pricing and reporting outputs.Responsibilities:Technical Support with the production of new pricing models utilising GLMs, GBMs, NNsMaintain the quarterly reserving process via ResQ & Excel across all product lines: Motor, Casualty, Property & OthersComplete key data checks as part of monthly reporting processesCleanse and interrogate complex datasets to generate business insight Reporting Contribute to the facilitation of automated reporting, data pipelines and quality assuranceSupport delivery of the business plan across each of the portfoliosCommunicate analysis and recommendations through data visualisations General Participate in ad-hoc analyses and strategic initiatives as required to support business objectives.Pursue professional development and excellence with the support of the Learning & Development team Requirements /Essential: Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics or a related fieldA minimum of 1-3 years of non-life industry experienceExperience analysing data and deriving insights from it.Understanding of general insurance principles and practicesProficiency in ExcelSome programming skills e.g. SQL or pythonStrong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.A proactive and collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
