The role: Summary: The Auditor role requires an experienced knowledge of risk in the Asset Based Lending industry with the ability to identify key risks and make recommendations for risk reducing actions to the operations and credit teams. Whilst primary responsibility will be the auditing of existing client portfolio there may be the requirement to undertake new business surveys where required. The role would suit an individual looking to further develop their career in the Asset Based Lending Industry and in future help develop the audit and survey function as the lending book grows. Role: Our client is looking to recruit an immediate, interim Auditor for a 3 month contract role. In this role you will be responsible for the following duties: Support the audit process for the French and Spanish regions, ensuring compliance with IFRS and local regulations.Assist in preparing, reviewing, and validating consolidated financial statements for both regions.Ensure financial reporting aligns with IFRS standards and internal control policies.Conduct detailed reconciliations of accounts, identify discrepancies, and provide recommendations.Act as a key point of contact for external auditors, addressing queries and providing necessary documentation.Identify and implement improvements in audit procedures and financial reporting. Profile: The successful interim Auditor will be Qualified and have had experience working in practice. This role will suit a Qualified Accountant who has hands on experience with consolidated financial statements and reconciliations.
