IT Auditor
Robert Half are assisting a global market leading logistics organisation to recruit a IT Auditor on a contract basis. Hybrid working - London based Role The IT Auditor will assist in the development of an Internal Audit plan which fits the IT risk profileAgree the objectives and scope of audit reviews with senior managementPerform audits in line with the agreed objectives, both as a sole contributor and working as a teamOversee the delivery of IT audit fieldwork performed by the co sourced partnerDeliver high quality audit reports that succinctly identify practical opportunities to improve the effectiveness of controls and agree findings with heads of functions/business unitsEffectively support the business to close agreed audit actions and track progress thereonProvide input and insights to Executive, Board and Audit Committee reportsDevelop and embed an approach to using data analytics in internal audit Drive departmental initiatives and support the wider business's initiatives aimed at developing and improving the Group's approach to governance, risk management and internal controlsAct as the IT representative for governance, risk and control: driving and sharing best practice; increasing awareness of Internal Audit & Risk's role; and building / maintaining relationships with key stakeholdersActively contribute to improving the Internal Audit and Risk functionLiaise with external auditors and other sources of assurance to avoid duplication of workAssist with other ad hoc projects and investigations as required Profile The IT Auditor will have strong, diverse technical background including technology transformation, application of IT and security governance frameworks (e.g., COSO, COBIT, NIST, ISO270001, ITIL etc), and key technology domainsExperience with auditing IT infrastructure, cyber and information security, digital, cloud environments, IT operations, data privacy/protection and IT programmes and projectsExcellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills with the ability to lead thinking on technology risk management, governance, compliance, and internal control best practiceStrong risk and controls awareness, experience of complex and less mature operating environments, and analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong negotiation and influencing skills with the willingness to work with the business to understand commercial perspectives when defining fit for purpose governance and controls.Someone who wants to make a difference and is excited about adding value and embedding our in-house functionExcellent verbal and written communication skills.
