(36hr week)Working Hours: 08:00 - 16:00 (early finish Friday)Main Objectives of the Post of Bricklayer Perform bricklaying tasks as identified on job tickets to an agreed standard. Ensure any related work is either completed or reported back to the manager.Materials Ordering: Order necessary materials to complete jobs within the required timescales.Access Equipment: Erect, use, and dismantle access equipment such as ladders, steps, and platforms.Emergency Service: Be prepared to provide emergency out-of-hours service on a rota basis, if required.Documentation: Record and document all work activities, submitting information within required timescales.Health and Safety: Take responsibility for personal Health and Safety and for those affected by your actions or omissions.Risk Assessments: Follow Health and Safety instructions from the Co-ordinator and actively use the risk assessment system.Vehicle Checks: Undertake weekly vehicle checks and report any defects to the Co-ordinator.Other Duties: Perform any other duties as deemed necessary by senior staff. Person Specification Client Relations: Ability to build good relations with Client Officers and customers.Customer Interaction: Professional, friendly, and considerate manner when dealing with customers.Workload Management: Ability to manage personal workload and handle a variety of tasks.Initiative: Use initiative to assess situations and decide on appropriate actions.Responsibility: Show a responsible attitude and genuine concern for all work carried out.Quality and Efficiency: Work to a high standard of quality and efficiency, motivated by a performance-related payment scheme.
