The Role As the Account Executive / Associate Director for Commercial Insurance, you will play a key role in driving the business forward, and your responsibilities will include: Managing and expanding commercial client accounts, both new and existing, to provide tailored commerical insurance solutions.Working closely with clients to understand their requirements and providing complete professional insurance advice to clients across a range of sectors, ensuring their needs are met with tailored insurance solutions.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact for all insurance related mattersDealing with the selling, processing and administration of new contracts, renewals and MTA's.Liaising and negotiating with underwriters to identify the most suitable insurance products for your clients.Conduct regular policy reviews and identify opportunities for clients to improve coverage or save on premiums.Negotiate renewals and new business to achieve targets and deliver exceptional client outcomes.Provide advice and guidance on risk management and insurance trends.Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes to ensure clients receive accurate and timely advice.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of service and customer satisfaction.Supporting the wider team to provide subject matter expertise. About You Previous experience working commercial insurance as either a Senior Insurance Broker, Account Handler, Account Executive or DirectorA deep knowledge of the commercial insurance industry and its products and solutionsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships with clients and insurersAbility to manage a diverse client portfolio and handle multiple priorities effectivelyStrong negotiation skillsInsurance qualifications (CII or equivalent) would be desirable.Working knowledge of insurance software (Acturis would be desirable but not essential).
