Our client is looking for a part-time commis chef to join a vibrant pub near Brackley Working split shifts Wednesday and Thursday every week with the occasional overtime to cover holidays and sickness. The successful candidate must have experience working in a restaurant style kitchen and ideally have relevant food/hygiene certification. Shifts- 10am-2.30/3pm - 6pm-9.30pm Requirements: A passion for food and an eagerness about cooking and kitchen operations.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, particularly during busy service times.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high hygiene standards.A positive attitude and a willingness to be a team player.Ability to provide clear communication between kitchen and Front of house staff. Key Responsibilities: Cleaning and Sanitizing: Keep all kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils clean and sanitized in line with health and safety regulations.Assisting head Chef: Support the head chef with basic food preparation tasks, such as washing, peeling, chopping, and organizing ingredients. Plating food to highest of standards following given briefs.Maintaining Kitchen Standards: Regularly clean kitchen surfaces and floors, ensuring the kitchen environment is safe and hygienic.Other Duties: Take on any additional tasks as directed by the Head Chef to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
