The Role: We are looking for a dynamic and driven Communications Executive to join our client’s growing PR & Communications team in London. This is a newly created position driven by business growth, where you’ll work closely with the PR & Comms Director to execute a proactive communications strategy that boosts brand reputation and engagement. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a flair for writing, a keen eye on the media landscape, and a proactive attitude to stakeholder engagement. You’ll be comfortable juggling multiple deadlines and thrive in a responsive, mission-driven environment. Key Responsibilities: Public Relations: Write and distribute compelling blogs and press releasesLiaise with external PR agencies to ensure strong media presence (online and in print)Pitch regional press stories to news outlets and journalistsMonitor media coverage (via Meltwater) and escalate reputational risks Communications: Own and produce content for all internal and external comms, including newsletters, stakeholder updates, and instant messagingEnsure alignment with the organisation’s strategic messaging across all channelsSupport the PR & Comms Director with stakeholder engagement and high-level correspondence Reputation Management: Be available (on rotation or as agreed) to assist with reactive and reputation-sensitive communications as neededConfidently manage communication in fast-moving, high-pressure situations Requirements About You: A strong writer with a passion for impactful storytellingConfident liaising with media and external stakeholdersOrganised, adaptable and thrives under pressureA graduate in Journalism, English, or Communications will be considered, as well as more experienced candidatesKeen to grow and learn… this role offers long-term development potentialA genuine team player who’s not afraid to roll up their sleeves Progression & Development: This is a growth role with real progression opportunities.
