Self-Employed Delivery Driver (Multi-Drop) Depot Location: Sighthill Depot (EH11), delivering to EH3 and surrounding areas: No return to depot when finished. Start Date: ASAP Pay: £120-£170 per day (£720-£1,020 per week) Contract: Indefinite/Flexible - Full-Time, Part-Time, or Weekends What we're looking for: We're looking for self-employed drivers to join our delivery team. Whether you want regular full-time work or just a few days a week, we've got routes to suit your schedule. What the role involves: Delivering and collecting parcels in your own vehicle or one of our insured vansUsing a simple app to manage your route and communicate with the depotLoading parcels and making sure they're delivered safely and on timeOnce you are finished your deliveries, there's no need to return to the depot for any debrief Requirements Our Vans: Valid UK, European, or International manual driving licenceAge 21+ with at least 12 months of UK driving experienceMax 6 penalty points (some endorsements not accepted - see below)For our vans: We can't accept certain licence endorsements (e.g., TT, CD, DR, DG, AC, BA, MS)Our vans are fully insured for both business and personal use, and come taxed, MOT'd, and ready to drive. Our client, who have been in business for over 40 years, are currently recruiting for a reliable delivery driver to join them on a full-time permanent basis. This role will include driving around Gloucestershire and the South West. To apply for this role, you must have the following; -Ability to drive 3.5t vehicle -Presentable, well-mannered with a practical nature, i.e. can or wants to learn furniture building -Hard working and willing to get stuck in -Ability to lift large and sometimes heavy products Any successful candidate will be DBS checked prior to starting with the company. Hours: Monday - Friday, 45 hours per week Salary: Up to £27,000 per annum, depending on experience + bonus scheme and benefits including 25 days holiday + bank holidays, Christmas shutdown, a quarterly team BBQ, and scope to progress
