This role is ideal for both qualified teachers and those with a wealth of engineering experience who are looking to gain a recognised teaching qualification. You will be part of a talented staff team at a successful Sixth Form, supported to develop your teaching practice in an environment of positive encouragement and mutual respect. Day-to-day of the role: Provide outstanding teaching, learning, and assessment in Mechatronics Engineering.Stretch and challenge students to reach their potential, ensuring they feel confident about their future careers.Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that inspire and motivate students.Utilise a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and needs.Monitor and assess students' progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.Participate in the continuous improvement of teaching practices and curriculum development.Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience of the students. Required Skills & Qualifications: Must hold a teaching qualification.Assessor qualification is required.Experience in Mechatronics Engineering or a related field.Strong commitment to providing high-quality education.Ability to engage and inspire students aged 16-19.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.For unqualified teachers, willingness to undergo training to obtain a recognised teaching qualification.
