Email Executive(eCommunications Executive) London Hybrid working meaning 2 days in the office and 3 from home Permanent Full Time 35 hours Up to £33,000pa depending on experience Join our team as an Email Executive The eCommunications Team manages ICAEW's email strategy for external communications and marketing. We ensure every message is clear, consistent, on-brand, and professionally executed. We are responsible for managing the ESP and working with teams to deliver impactful and effective email and SMS communications. Overall purpose of this role of Email Executive The Email Executive or eCommunciations Executive supports the management of the ESP platform's daily operations as well as stakeholder needs. This includes campaign building, testing, report analysis, troubleshooting, and GDPR-compliant email strategy guidance. The role also provides training and manages tasks like proofing and data approvals, ensuring communications remain on-brand. Email Executive Responsibilities include: Manage the ESP platform for ICAEW Support the day-to-day management and running of platform including administration and maintenanceAnalyse reports and deliver results to stakeholdersWork with Senior Exec/Manager to troubleshoot and solve platform problems Ensure stakeholders have knowledge/skills to use the ESP and understand ICAEW email strategy Provide 1-2-1 support where necessaryPoint of contact for stakeholders requiring helpAssist Senior Exec/Manager with workshops/training program Day-to-day BAU tasks e.g. proofing, segment approvals, acting as Super User Support stakeholders eg coaching, troubleshooting, quality assurance, system set up, database administrationApprove data segments in-line with GDPR requirementsBuild and send Community newsletters and for other key areas Provide expert service on email strategy for ICAEW in compliance with GDPR Support the implementation of an agreed email communications plan by supporting and participating in the projects and initiatives carried out by the eComms teamWork with Senior Exec and/or Manager to deliver any new ways of workingWork with stakeholders to use data safely and efficiently in builds and audience segments Ensure Brand style and tone of voice are consistent across all email communications Work with stakeholders to ensure imagery, copy and overall look-and-feel of emails are on-brand and align with corporate identity Email Executive Candidate Profile Essential Previous experience using email service providers, preferred: DotdigitalProficient in MS Office packagePrevious experience working in digital or marketing rolesAttention to detailStrong planning and organisational skillsAble to prioritise, stick to deadlines and adapt to changing circumstancesAble to multi-task and work under pressureProven team playerExcellent written and verbal communication skillsUnderstanding of GDPR and data protection Desirable Design skills e.g. creating artwork for campaignsExperience using AI tools e.g. Chat GPTExperience across several digital marketing channels, especially emailPrevious experience of working with external service providers/contractorsMarketing, communications or relevant digital qualificationExperience in marketing-led communications environmentHTML skillsMicrosoft Dynamics Why work at ICAEW as Email Executive?
