Finance Coordinator
Job Title: Finance CoordinatorLocation: Northamptonshire (On-site 5 days a week, flexible working hours)Salary: Up to £32,000 (depending on experience) About the Role:Robert Half is proud to represent a well-established client in Northamptonshire seeking an experienced Finance Coordinator. This is a dynamic, fast-paced role where you'll be at the heart of managing stock, coordinating transport, and ensuring financial accuracy. Key Responsibilities: Stock Management: Monitor and receipt stock into external coldstores, ensuring everything is accurate.Invoice Processing: Process supplier invoices against ordersTransport Coordination: Arrange transport from depot to customers, ensuring seamless sales and invoicing.Cost Accrual: Accrue transport costs when arranging shipments to customers.Stock Discrepancies: Assist the Team Leader with weekly stock discrepancies, investigating and correcting variances (weights/quantities).Direct Delivery Orders: Log purchases into banking systemComplete sales to generate invoices for customersProcess supplier invoices against intakeRaise and log customer claims, coordinating with Sales for credit note approval System & Paperwork Accuracy: Ensure finance system is accurate and maintain complete, electronically filed paperwork.Ad-Hoc Duties: Provide cover across the department as required and support with non-conformance reporting. What We're Looking For: Experience in stock management, finance coordination, or similar roles.Proficiency with banking systemsStrong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Great communication skills for liaising with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.A problem-solver with a proactive approach to resolving discrepancies.
