Finance Executive

We are seeking a Finance Executive to join our well-established Finance department and play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day finance operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 5+ years of experience in finance or accounting who thrives in a collaborative environment and is ready to step into a role with ownership, responsibility, and growth potential.About the opportunity: As Finance Executive, you will work closely with a dedicated team of four, reporting directly to the Finance Manager. You will support the team in maintaining financial accuracy, improving processes, and ensuring exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders. This is a hybrid role based in Bracknell/Reading, with an initial 6-month probationary period spent in the office. Key Responsibilities: Process sales invoices, accounts payable, and bank reconciliations.Manage payroll and credit control.Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.Address finance queries promptly and professionally.Identify opportunities to enhance financial systems and workflows.Support the team in implementing innovative solutions.Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.Assist with training and onboarding as required, ensuring smooth handovers and teamwork. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: At least 5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, ideally within a medium-sized company.Degree in a relevant discipline and/or AAT Level 4 certification.Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with fluency in English.Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.A proactive and problem-solving mindset with a client-centric approach.A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to learn and grow.
