As the Financial Accountant, our client is looking for ambitious, forward thinking individual to join the European Team. The role is based on our client’s near Newcastle site and is supporting the Financial Controller to ensure compliance in all financial systems and help drive financial reporting and control across multiple UK legal entities. Our client is seeking the following skills and attributes Ideally a Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with industry experience as a Financial Accountant.Strong accounting knowledge including statutory and consolidated reporting (US GAAP an advantage),A keen eye for detail coupled with strong analytical skills.A confident communicator able to liaise at all levels.Excel skills and experience of SAP and Oracle HFM would be advantageousStrong technical accounting skills on entity and divisional level IFRS or US-GAAP. Key Responsibilities Include : Month end corporate reporting within strict deadlines for UK non-trading/investment entities, consulting with US.Accounts payable, banking, receivables GL accounting daily tasks for non-trading/investment entitiesKey point of contact and liaison with EMEA Shared Service Centre (SSC) re.
