Do you have strong air import/export experience with a good understanding of dangerous goods or time-critical shipment procedures? I am recruiting for an experienced Air Freight Operations Clerk for a repeat client close to Heathrow Airport, who specialises in in the transportation of hazardous/dangerous goods, temperature-controlled and time-sensitive shipments. My client serves both domestic and international customers and prides themselves on providing exemplary customer service. This is an office-based, Monday-Friday position, working from 8am-5pm with a 1-hour lunch break. Main Responsibilities: Handling imports and exports for dangerous/hazardous goods as well as time-sensitive and temperature-controlled cargoLiaise with customers for all aspects of their shipments.Find solutions for highly regulated shipments mostly via Air, as well as some Road & Sea.Make import/export airline bookings.Handle customs compliance and declarations.Track shipments and provide timely updates.Handle customer invoicing and creditor invoice processing.
