Catering & Hospitality Tutor Salary: £31,100 to £32,836 (FTE) (Qualified)Location: [Please insert location]Job Type: Full Time, Permanent We are looking for a dedicated Catering & Hospitality Tutor to join our education team. This role involves working with students in our public-facing enterprise coffee shop and internal catering services, supporting young people to develop their sector skills while running a successful business. The ideal candidate will deliver effective teaching, learning, and assessment, using innovative approaches to engage students and help them achieve their potential. Day-to-day of the role: Deliver innovative, timely, and effective teaching, learning, and assessment to enhance students’ progression opportunities.Develop age-appropriate learning resources and make effective use of the community to support learning.Be a reflective practitioner, actively contributing to quality cycles and professional continuous learning.Work collaboratively with tutors, learning support assistants, and other staff for the benefit of students.Take responsibility for the delivery, monitoring, and achievement of qualifications and RARPA achievement of students.Ensure all processes and procedures are adhered to for the benefit of students and staff. Required Skills & Qualifications: PGCE / CertEd teaching qualification or equivalent.Level 2 or above in English and Maths.Educated to Level 3 in Catering and Hospitality.Evidence of recent and ongoing continual professional development.Experience in teaching and relevant curriculum knowledge.Ability to use IT to enhance the learning experience.Maintains current knowledge of the Catering industry.Assessor qualification – D32 / A1 / TAQA or willingness to work towards (desirable).Experience of working with young people with learning needs (desirable).
