Role responsibilities Take ownership of electrical fault finding, repairing, and maintaining assets across different sites Carry out planned work from maintenance schedules on operational assets. Provide high-standard services in a sustainable manner that meets internal and external customer service levels, minimises risk to compliance, and meets quality requirements. Deliver quality support using expertise in electrical, control, and process systems to maintain or minimise risk and impact to customers. Work collaboratively in a mobile field team. Compile or update site engineering documentation. Adhere to current ISO, H&S systems, procedures, and policies. Undertake training for technical skills and Health and Safety awareness improvement. Qualifications and experience Time-served apprenticeship supported by relevant formal qualifications e.g., City and Guilds, BTEC, ONC/HNC/HND. Compliant with current IEE Regs 18th Edition. City & Guilds Inspect and Test 2391-10 would be ideal although this is not essential. A full UK driving license. Industrial/Commercial experience. Experience with VSDs and motor control systems would be beneficial. Understanding of Wiring Diagrams. Knowledge of working with Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS). Good working knowledge of LV systems.

The successful candidate will perform scheduled, planned, and reactive maintenance on all electrical equipment and instrumentation. This role is crucial in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of kilns, milling, and hydrating plants, while adhering to all electrical regulations. Key Responsibilities: Attend daily team briefs and department meetings.Adhere to company and local Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) policies.Perform safety and maintenance checks, documenting findings accurately.Diagnose and repair electrical faults quickly to minimise production downtime.Assist in commissioning new plant or equipment.Provide out-of-hours electrical breakdown cover as needed.Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs.Contribute to root cause analysis reports for significant downtime events.
