For this role, you will be responsible for prospecting all Generation Services new business, to deliver EBIT to I&C through the execution of complex energy risk management deals with sophisticated Corporate & Strategic Market third parties and clients. The role holder will be required to develop beneficial third party and client relationships with generators. The role holder will build strong relationships both externally to I&C and internally across the company to maximise commercial opportunities and broaden the value base of the portfolio. This role is homebased, with nationwide travel required (car allowance provided). What we need from you To be currently working within the UK energy sector and have existing UK relationships with third party, embedded or independent generators.Proven track record of negotiating and securing PPA, ROC and REGO contracts.Strong understanding of the UK Energy Market and specifically skilled in development, negotiation, and execution and of complex products and contractual and financial and credit management tools, specifically in the Generation Services market space. Strong commercial and technical competence with substantial experience gained in the energy industry. Able to create and develop new value building propositions to broaden the base value delivered through key third parties. Develop strategies for maximising market opportunities recognising the diverse and rapidly changing nature of the marketplace. Ability to manage multi-dimensional risk and complex industry and market mechanisms and drive all associated complexities of new business development. Full UK driving licence.
