What you'll be doing: Mechanical Coordinator - A Shift / B Shift available - Days 06:00-18:00 £14.56 - Nights 18:00-06:00 £15.56. To carry out the day-to-day maintenance tasks and site repairs to assist operations in achieving maximum productivity, directed by the Engineering Shift Leader. To take ownership for product quality in the day to day running of the area/department/shift. Key Accountabilities Complete fault finding (within skill set), planned and preventative maintenance on tooling to maximise equipment reliability and performance.Carry out fault finding, problem solving and establish route cause fixes to address equipment issues.Maintain ongoing communications with the operations team, ensuring they are fully aware of all relevant engineering activities and schedules.Respond to internal customer needs to maximise production up time according to given priorities.Comply with food safety standards and controls to ensure all work is carried out correctly and safely.Record any stock removed from the Engineering stores to ensure accurate stock control.Complete all necessary documentation ensuring that it is kept accurate and is audit ready.Identify and recommend opportunities for improvements to promote Health and Safety and/or operational efficiency and effectiveness.Ensure all paperwork completed in all areas/departments and is accurate, reliable, comprehensive and legible.Attend SIC meetings on a daily basis, reporting any concerns regarding performance throughout the shifts.Ensure any relevant CCP's/Allergen Controls are adhered to.Help facilitate a continuous improvement environment.
