The job includes but is not limited to: * Performing Waste Plant Operations* Waste Movements* Housekeeping Duties/Responsibilities: * Waste Plant Operations: Carry out processing operations for numerous process plant applications involved in cementation, super-compaction, size reduction, sort and segregation, decontamination, and chemical processing. procedures. To be flexible to work both at the Winfrith site and other sites as required. Also, flexible to work on rotas and weekends as required. * Waste Movements: Trained in forklift truck, crane driving and slinging operations, with importance placed on the waste moves, following waste loading instructions and in collaboration with the Appointed Person Lifting (APL). * Housekeeping:Ensure all operational work areas are kept clean and tidy to the standards required of a Nuclear Licensed Site. Ensure that on completion of daily tasks that work areas are left safe, secure and tidy.
